Balikashram’s Mission is to work with Kanyas in caring and safe environment, where past hurts are healed; hope is kindled; and faith in self is developed.

Balikashram was created with the mission of providing a family, cultural, and educational environment for underprivileged girls as a means of their empowerment and increase of self-esteem.

We have a task of developing sustainable change and creating a safety net for children in our home.

It is our philosophy that every child is entitled to access a healthy, emotional, cultural, and spiritual development that a family environment provides to their children.

Vision

To help create a world free of destitute children. Our vision is of a world where there are no destitute children, where families are restored, those who are disadvantaged have choices and hope and all children have a voice.

Balikashram works so that no child under its care should be without necessities in life. The vision is to provide superior services through competent, caring adults who are trained in the most effective methods of childcare. We visualize a world in which all girls regardless of caste, colour, creed, income level or social status, are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
